Why No Pictures Of N600XL, Legacy Jet-->Gol Crash

Mon Mar 07, 2011 4:58 am

Dear photographers,

My question is simple: after doing a search in the database, I can't seem to find a picture of the Embraer Legacy (N600XL) upon arrival in the US! After the midair with a Gol B738, it was stuck in Brazil for years!!
Somehow it made it out of the jungle, back to the US.

Does anybody know where this jet is flying to and fro, any pics anyone?

Cheers,

A quick search on planespotters.net indicates that its no longer with the charter company ExcelAire.

Although photos of the old and new reg aren't on airliners.net if you do a simple google search of the new tail number (N965LL) you'll get some pictures although I too have always wondered why this airplane was never photographed.

Here is the link to where I saw them:

Interestingly enough the left winglet still needs to be replaced!
