Help With A Cape Air Registration

Mon May 23, 2011 1:55 am

So the other day I managed to get a photograph of a 9K c502 at my local airport in a special green livery. The only problem is that the rear cargo hatch was down, so the first numbers of the registration are missing. (obviously the first part of the registration will be N) I tried google with the last four numbers and letters that I have (90CA) but to no avail. I also searched the photo database here on a.net. If anyone could help I would appreciate it very much!

Gleaning that there are only 9 possibilities (do US registrations ever start with N0?) - N190CA-N990CA - I did a quick search of the fleet lists, but also came up with nothing. This leads me to think this is likely to be' the one they are seeking' (plenty of reports suggesting they are/were looking for another Cessna to imminently add to the fleet) - in which case it's probably too new to be in any database yet (?).

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N990CA N990CA is a Cirrus S-22, I've actually seen that one around, so it's definitely not the 9K aircraft. Thanks for the suggestion though!

It may be N490CA. The FAA database shows a registration change for a Cessna 208B

Well, if you look up n69sc which is a Cape Air aircraft, it comes back to "HYANNIS AIR SERVICE". An FAA name search of "HYANNIS AIR SERVICE" returns n290ca pending a registration change.
