Hey Falcon Flyer,
Good to know you're at PHX
Well, you can try that, and I highly recommend you, as being a small airport you approach Comandancia to see if they can let you access the ramp or either try to go up to the tower for a few hours.
With Mexicana gone slowly airlines have brought more birds, but it hasn't been fast nor easy. MX
had 110 planes and as of today maybe all have brought 70 aircraft to their fleet, several cities don't have the connection or number of flights they had before MX
Photo points in MEX
during this decade, quite true, remember the fence we went over Hangares Avenue just like MIA
, that nice spot is gone as several more and maybe soon, the last winter spot is about to dissappear with a new road project., additional to the weather issues and cloud formation due to our altitude and hot temperatures during the day, it's hard to snap good shots from the perimeter today.
changed for better, there's now nice new roads down runway 15 and you're really close the action, there was a traffic boost with LCC there, Interjet flew to 25 destinations and Volaris had almos the same number, Mexicana ceased and Volaris moved to MEX
leaving only 2 daily departures only, one to CUN
and one to GDL
, Interjet has 7 destinations and 14 flights a day., so in terms of airlines is slow, thou, cargo traffic is intensily increasing as well the private traffic which comes in and out every single hour.
If you want to come down, let me know.
