Photos Lost Between Acceptance And Publishing

Thu Feb 02, 2012 9:56 pm

Hi there,

Just wondering if any of you have experienced the same problem. I received an acceptance email for a picture 6 hours ago but the photo still hasn't been published nor has that 'congratulations' email been sent. Is it actually lost somewhere?

Cheers,
Nicholas

Unfortunately, this does not seem to be an isolated event. If anyone has experienced similar issues, please let us know.

Quoting dlowwa (Reply 1):

I suppose there's not much I can do but sit back and wait for it to be published, huh.. Oh well, at least it is gone from the queue and also not on the rejection screen in my photos!

Nicholas, from checking the log, I can see you should have one image currently in screening (OE-LGH). I can't find it in the HQ queue, so if you can confirm you can't see it in your queued images page, we can assume it has disappeared. If this is the case, please let me know.

This happened to me a couple years ago when I got this shot accepted:

If I recall correctly the database had gotten itself stuck for a time so there ended up being an 18 hour gap between the time the shot was accepted and the time it was placed into the database. Sounds like the same bug came back.
