Airliners.net Think My Prictures Are From 1990?

Wed Sep 12, 2012 3:18 pm

I sent a email to ask why it takes so long time to the pictures to be activated and he said that my pictures would be rejected?
And one of the reasons was that it looke'd like the pictures was from around 1990?
What happend?

This is the pictures:

This plane is the newest plane in Norwegian ASA's fleet? Oh yes it is! (LN-NGD) http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/big/ready/s1347382507.2229ngd.jpg

And this Atlantic Airways Airbus A319 is brand new too (OY-RCG): http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/big/ready/x1347384413.2555at.jpg

Hi,

Not sure where you got the idea your images look like they're from 1990, but in case there was any confusion, I'll copy and paste my original reply to your email:

Hi,

Current queue length is 8-9 days, so the images you uploaded today will be screened around the 19th or 20th. Unfortunately, they will be rejected for a variety of quality issues, including the fact that they are below the minimum accepted size (1000 pix).

It would be wise to remove them from the queue and refer to the following resources for assistance with editing your images:

http://www.airliners.net/faq/editing_guide.php

http://www.airliners.net/faq/rejection_reasons.php

Good luck.

They must be a minimum 1000 pixels, and fit within a 3:2 to 4:3 ratio. This is explained in the pages I linked above. Besides that, there are other quality issues, but if you wish to discuss it more, please start a thread in the Feedback Forum
