Help In Choosing A Proper Settings On My Camera!

Fri Oct 12, 2012 1:07 am

Hi all!
I have the Canon EOS 650D/T4i.
My only lens I currently have is the EF 70-200 2.8L USM (non IS).
I have always wonderd what are the best settings for the next occasions:
- Day light.
- Cloudy day.
- Night shot.
I know how to take photos proparly, don't get me wrong. I usaually shoot on Av. 8 or 7.1 on day light, on cloudy day on Tv 1/1000-1/400. I would like to know how to deside which settings to put on every occasion. On night shot I usually put on Av-8 and ISO100.
Am I doing this correctly? Can I improve something?
Thanks!!
