Identifying A Helicoopter In A Photo

Wed Feb 27, 2013 5:57 pm

Hello!

Could anybody tell me whether it's possible to ask some of the members here for help in identifying a helicopter in a photo? I can't decipher the registration number and I would really like to see more photos of it?

It is this one: http://www.theaerialimage.com/aircraft.html

That looks like a Eurocopter, more precise i would say a Eurocopter AS-350B-2 Ecureuil

Almost.

According the the website, they say they use an Aerostar helicopter, which is not correct, the North American name for the AS350 is the AStar.

This machine is actually Austrian OE-XJH with Heli Austria and is an AS355 Ecureil 2 or Twin Squirrel in English or a Twin Star in N America. Here she is on a.net
