Renaissance Hotel Heathrow Club Lounge?

Mon Jun 03, 2013 10:10 am

Hello. I have limited mobility so Myrtle Avenue and a lot of other less comfortable venues (Myrtle Avenue, etc) are not an option for me. But I note from the LHR web site that the Renaissance Hotel have a £35 package that offers free parking, tea/coffee all day and use of their club lounge, which offers good views over LHR, albeit through triple glazed windows. I was wondering whether anyone has ever used this offer and what it is like for image quality shooting photographs through the thick windows in the club lounge?

p.s - hear that if 09 is in use then this location is not good - what's the best way to tell if the winds are Easterly and 09 is in use - you can't find that out from the published schedules so what's the best place to look for that info?

The Met office forecast for winds is "8 knots from the East/North-East" - would this result in 09 being used?

Thank you !
