How Do You Get Editing Help?

Mon Aug 26, 2013 9:03 pm

On many photos, I see a attribution, such "I would like to thank_______ for their editing help" or something like that.
I would like to to see if anybody would give editing help. It would help many of us amateurs on the site.

Feel free to DM me with any questions regarding editing and I'll gladly take a look at some edits and give you feedback.

My advice is to post in the Feedback Forum. Post some of your shots with which you're having trouble, and ask any editing questions. You'll get some good feedback.

For more general editing-related questions, you can of course post here (in the General Photography Forum).

There is also the Editing Guide. While the author himself stated it was out-of-date, I still think it's a useful guide for editing. As time goes on, you'll be able to tweak/change steps to suit your own workflow.

Of course, you can PM people as well, as Ryan suggested. Feel free to PM/email me as well.
I'm watching Jeopardy. The category is worst Madonna songs. "This one from 1987 is terrible".

We could start by asking what camera and editing sofware you are currently using? I use PS Elements 11 and it will cover all the editing work you will to do.
