Post Scrrener - Hate Haze.

Sat Feb 04, 2012 10:44 am

Today I have this rejection. Personal screen comment is: "heat haze affecting quality - not fixable"

I can see hate haze in the aircraft. I hpoe the screen no reject this picture beacause he see hate engine exhaust, This no is rejection motive.I think this picture is not more hate haze that anothers pictures accepted. And. of course, I think the picture is very fixable.

I am thinking to appeal but again I would like some opinion.

I don't think so. There's a softness about the photo all over that's normally as a result of heat haze. It looks like you've applied more sharpening than normal to try and compensate, but it's still not sharp. I would agree with the screener, it's not fixable. It's lacking in contrast too.

The whole bottom of the aircraft shows signs of heat haze (softness and straight, hard lines becoming slightly wavy), especially the nose.

And I hope you would realise that we have enough experience to know the difference between engine exhaust and heat haze. I don't think there's much chance of seeing engine exhaust affecting the quality around the nose area, is there?

Muniz, you've got some great photos on this site and you work stands alone. Understanding that you are not a native English speaker, I tread lightly here.
