How much cw rotation is needed? Kind of hard to tell because the poles themselves are not level.

I think it needs about 0.5 CW rotation. However, it's oversharpened - the United titles on both 747s are very jagged.

Yes, 0.5 should be fine. Don't think it's oversharpened, but there are some blown-out areas.
