I am no expert but a bit of ccw rotation is needed. Maybe a bit tighter crop. Mind you, i've only just got my first picture up.

Yes a tighter crop and looks a tad soft to me, just one pass of USM would help.

Hi, Definetly some CCW, but to be honest guys, I dont see how a tighter crop would be possible here, especially since its a fixed ratio were working with. Another thing that perhaps may be an issue, is that it might be just a tad bright. Almost as if the top part of the fuselage is a little blown out. Other than that its very nice!

Quoting strangr (Reply 1):

Quoting 207p (Reply 2):
Yes a tighter crop

It does NOT need to be cropped any tighter.

Quoting strangr (Reply 1):

Quoting MaximLezin (Reply 3):
Definetly some CCW

The level is fine.

The only problem is the poor light/contrast, which is making it look a little soft. This may not be fixable, as it looks somewhat toplit.

Although it isnt bad - it does in my opinion need a tad bit of CCW leveling. Then again, just the way I see it, and the way Id be happier if I were sending it in.

Thanks for all the input. As expected, Dana has sharp eyes! It was a cloudy day, lighting was not great. I think both crop and level are fine.

OK, just got this one rejected for level, and the comment is "CCW needed". I knew this one is difficult with level, what is your opinion on this? Thanks!

Hi! Well the level on that one isnt too bad, but is in need of some CCW rotation. You can tell because the verticals of the building are leaning inward. It should be a quick and easy fix!

I do not have any cockpit shots in DB yet, now try with these two, any comments? Thanks!

Not the best motives. The first has too much blown-out/out-of-focus space to the sides, and the second a distracting crop at the top and bottom.

Thanks Dana.

Now these two are re-submission, this first one NK was rejected for soft and second one AA was for grainy and dirty. Please take a look and see if they are better now, thanks!

Thanks Dana, trying two more which I think is a bit difficult.

The first one is a navy heritage flight, I have to crop quite a bit, so don't know if it can make it.

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/b...ady/z1338123338.6054dsc_7057-4.jpg

The second one is hard to make it level, no reliable reference.

What do you think? Thanks!

Not as bad as yours, and even so, we generally don't like to compound mistakes with an image possibly added in error by adding another bad one.

Don't see an issue with the color, but the contrast isn't any better (probably worse in fact), it just looks brighter.

Chopper looks like there's a bit of haze; the close crop of the damaged prop looks ok for quality, but will likely be debated for motive.

Thanks Dana, just a bit confused that the comment about motive for the damaged prop, I think it would be difficult to see the damage if I framed in the whole aircraft, so I did a close up. Or generally a damaged prop is not something amounts for a motive? thanks!

Hi, I just got a picture kind of puzzles me. I hope someone can help me to feel a bit better. so first upload of this one was rejected for yellow tint,

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...706_w1340938517.4869dsc_9207-2.jpg

I thought ok, that is not difficult, I just removed some yellow from it and did not change other settings and resubmitted it as this one

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...715_z1341620385.3539dsc_9207-3.jpg

but this edition was also rejected for "cyan cast, please don't watse our time by uploading rejected images without any change, thank you"

well, it is not the rejected image because I removed the yellow tint (if it had it the first time to begin with, which I don't think so), and I honestly do not want to waste anyone's time! and now Cyan tint?

I guess well, then probably one of these two editions should be fine because it is only the matter of yellow tint or cyan tint, should be only one is correct, it can not be both. so I appealed both of them and hoping one would be ok.

They were both rejected very quickly, for "Little to no difference between the two; color oversaturated on both."

so maybe really the WB was ok, but oversaturated? I can correct that, but I did not enhance the saturation, it was just a deep blue sky on that day. but I can correct, that is fine.

It just this back and forth process makes me feel puzzled. Sorry for whining about it here, just hope someone can make me feel a bit better somehow. Thanks!

Bit of an awkward crop, given the portion on the left you decided to include is quite dark, but it might work.
