Could You Have A Look At My Shots? Any Tips?

Mon Nov 12, 2012 7:49 am

Hi

I have been spotting for a while now and got a couple of shots at ROT this afternoon.

A 1900d

I will link a couple more soon.
Any thoughts and tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.
A bad day spotting is better than a good day at work.

Hi,

Your image is quite soft/blurry, among other problems.

Also, in the future, better to post such threads in the Feedback Forum. Then we can go into more detail with your image(s).

Try finding a location which is less backlit - this will help somewhat. Morning arrivals/departures on Runway 36 (if you're able to photograph that from the terminal side of the runway) would probably give you nice conditions in terms of light. Otherwise if you're there in the afternoon, maybe try from the lake side of the runway - it looks like there's a grassy patch that's accessible. I haven't been to ROT for photography but I could guess what it's like. Again, Rwy 36 operations would probably make it easier.
It's all about the destination AND the journey.
