Post Screening (level) 747438

Mon Nov 19, 2012 4:07 pm

Had this one rejected, stating it needs CW rotation. I really cant see that.

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Hi Phil,

I think this is one that might technically be level, but it doesn't look like it. I can see why the screener has commented CW needed. Visually, it does look like it leans to the left. A little CW will help to balance it I feel. Did you use the roofline of the building in the background as reference? That is perfectly level, but the verticals on the building still suggest it needs a little CW and the aircraft does look a little unlevel. Maybe 0.15 or 0.25 degrees CW and you should be sorted.

Hi Phil,

I quickly did a check in PS by running straight lines from mirrored aircraft elements (e.g. the engine spinners & tips of the horizontal stabilizer) and the left side is indeed low, requiring CW rotation. Check it out yourself, or I can upload the image with the lines if you'd like. Hope this helps! Great photo nonetheless, hope it gets accepted.

Best regards,
-Vincent
