I'll try to make this intresting. i hope its not like pulling teeth.
Everyone goes through this if you have an older sibling. I went with my sister to drop her off at the University of Dayton.
I had football practice and anyone who plays football practice know's how serious it is here and so we were practicing at 630 on a friday night in the 106 degree heat. I ran off the feild and got home. My mom insisted that we left at 645 because of traffic. So we left and sure enough there wasnt any traffic. so we got to terminal A and found out that is was gate 7 (F100) . I saw that our flight left at 8:20. Then it was delayed to 9:06. So that wouldnt put us in DAY until after 12am. So we boarded finally and i got 6B. I wanted seat A but my sister wouldnt let me. So it was a realitivly normal flight. no bumps at all FA's werent so friendly. we got to DAY at 12:40am. Its a small quiet airport, i like it! We got in at gate B17.We got out rental car and saw some Emery planes i saw maybe 4 Dc-8's land and 2 take off and 1 a300 taxi.
the university of Dayton is great. it is near Wright Patterson Air Force base and i saw some C-5 galaxy's and some F-14's.
I got to Dayton at 5 for a flight at 8..? go figure. and so i watched golf and everyone in the airport was there no joke! I watched 2 planes take off, thats all i saw in 3 hours. It was a Us Air md-80 old colors and a Air Tran dc-9. i did see a com air RJ at the gate same with a delta md-88. then my plane came and i got window seat! seat 6A. we took off on rwy 36. we used all of the rwy except for maybe 600 feet.. this flight was pretty normal saw some storms with lightning always cool! and we landed on rwy 18R at DFW and parked at gate B7. one problem we parked the car at gate A 7. so if u have been to dfw and have done that same thing you know how much it sucks. but i survived!
