It seems that most of the people who participate on these forums have something against HP. As a former training specialist for a major CRS (computer reservations system) I had the opportunity to fly many different airlines and I find the service and attitude of HP personnel to be comparable to any other major carrier's. If you follow statistics published by the dept. of transportation (on most major newspapers) you will see that in the last 3 months HP reliability has improved considerably and that out of 890 daily flights perhaps an average of 7-10 are affected by irregular ops. Do you guys really think that everything is so perfect at DL,CO,AA? Get real and give HP a chance, they have had a lot of difficulties but are working to fix them. Yes, some of their people are rude, but hey, I have encountered people just as rude or worse at AA,NW,DL,BA,CO and UA. My last two flights with HP were on Halloween Day and both aircraft were spotless (737-300 and 757-200),service was very friendly and ON TIME. Everyone has a right to an opinion and no one deserves rude treatment from any kind of service provider but please be very neutral and fair when judging the service that you have been provided with. Some people just like to whine like children.
