Here is my simplified version of the trip:

Arrived at PHL at 6:30 after a small delay involving a bus, it stopped, and the workers trying to merge two lanes into one.

Check in was very fast, and we got up to the front in time to get my dad assigned an exit row. It was totally jam-packed, even all 16 seats in business class were sold, meaning no one in coach could get an upgrade. I walked around a bit, had a slice of sausage and egg pizza at the king of pizza and boarded.

We took off a little late, because of waiting for the fuel truck. One aircraft(American M80 or F100) was ahead of us, but once we got into the skies we were going smoothly and heading to Tampa. We got Biscoff's and a drink, I chose 7up. The rest of the flight was uneventful. At Tampa, we landed about 15 minutes late, and we made a quick taxi to the jetway, gate 52.

At the baggage claim, we had to wait 40 minutes for the luggage, a small wait, but we were able to get the car.

My uncle took me to St. Pete(PIE), where I was able to see the Metlife Blimp, 3 UPS 752s, a Canada 3000 A320, and an AirTransat L1011. We then went to TPA, and got to see a FL 717, a couple MetroJet aircraft, Cayman Airways 732, and the CO 100th ERJ145. We then drove around on the service drive, getting some good pics of Southest, and other airlines, including the Delta 722.

We got there at 8:20 for the 10:08 flight. The flight my Dad was going to book(A US flight leaving at 10:05) was cancelled, so we were lucky. Checkin was prompt, but the business upgrades were never available for it(At $302 a pop, they must have made a fortune). We had some Starbucks, and then went to the plane shop where I got a TW 741, and the AA retrojet 757(both by Wooster). We started boarding at 9:35, and they had a very good boarding policy IMO. If you came up when your row wasn't called, you would have to board last. They had their courtesy boarding, then business, followed by the main cabin from the back.

There was a lot of people cheering for either the Eagles or the Bucanneers(They were going to play in about 6 hours), and who was going to win. We took off relatively ontime and soon after, they came by to get our drink order. I ordered a can of 7up again, and I got two Biscoffs. I played electronic Hangman for most of the flight.

When we were descending, the strong winds at PHL were twisting the cabin around. It was the worst landing I have experienced. We landed about 25 minutes early(12:24), but we landed a little too far down the runway a couple hundred feet more than usual, and ended up having the Capt. slam on the brakes. We were at a taxiing speed by D terminal(We landed just ahead of the old blue overseas terminal), but the plane just missed the taxiway at D, and had to go to 'C', and turn around. We got out at D11(The usual gate), and got our luggage from the baggage claim even before our flight was scheduled to arrive(12:48)!

On a 1-10 scale, I'd give them a nine. They had the best price, and the gave me what I expected. I would give them a full ten if it wasn't for the late baggage arrival at TPA.
