Ok, you will be flying a B747-400. The seats are 2-2-2 i think or 2-3-2. Anyway they are soooo comfortable and recline very far (alot better than Emirates J class) The service is supreem and the cabin crew treat you like royalty. I'll find the menu from my London-Hong Kong route and tell you what there was to choose from for the main course. This will show you just how much effort they put in!:
Salad- Selected Seasonal salad served with any of your favourite dressings
Appetizer- Snow crab mousse and prawn with grilled artichoke and capsicum.
Eight treasures chicken
Pan fried sole fillet with coriander and ginger garnish
Lamb loin provencale style
Spinach ricotta tortellini with tomato basil sauce
Lyonnaise potatoes, three coloured noodles, steamed rice, assorted seasonal vegetables, stir fried vegetables.
Cheese selection with crackers and port.
Fruit- selection of fresh tropical organic fruit.
Backed pear and ginger tart
Charlotte kirsch royal
Bread selection- Garlic bread, Kaiser roll or rustic rolle all service with butter, olive oil and balsemic viniger to dip.
Tea- Ceylon, camomile, earl grey, jasmine, japanese, pepermint
Coffe- Filter coffe, regular or decaffeinated, espresso, cappucino and caffe latte
Selection of Chocolates and mints.
Now how does that sound?!!!
They realy have personell service down to a tee, asking you questions by addressing you in a formal manner, eg:
"would you like some coffee mr valentine?"
The amenti kits are wonderful as well, they are made by a very famous English company called "crab tree and evelin" Very nice.
The entertainmet system and ptv's are some of the best around.
And you MUST visit the J class lounge at Hong Kong, i think it was called "The Wing" or somthing. It has a FREE cafe and a 40ft long bar!, big leather seats and worstaions, showers ect.
