Once again jetBlue just rocks the house. Only went up for a day trip to JFK, but it was fun none the less.
Departed at 6:30am on flight #52 from MCO-JFK (N506JB - Wild Blue Yonder). The flight was about half full (70-80 I'd say). I sat at my usual 26A, and had the whole row to myself. For the snack I had some O.J. and a bag of blueberry bagel chip type things, which were really good. Talked with the flight attendants and showed them some of my aviation pics, they seemed impressed (especially with the jetblue ones). We cruised at about FL380, and we had some nice tail wind, we were doing about 550mph, but once we got near NJ, and began to desend, I saw it top out at 615mph. We landed on runway 22L, 23 minutes early! Good job.
JFK-MCO on flight #49 (N510JB, flew on her last year). I was sitting at the gate about 30 mins before departure, and the F/O (I think) came around and handed us T-Shirts (Holyfield vs Ruiz 2 shirts) and a few others god Don King wigs also. They we're showing the big fight on board! God I love this airline. I was the first to board (row 22A was my row), and chatted with a F/A I knew for a bit. Pushed back on time (8:55pm), and taxied out to runway 13R. Cruised at FL390 which was bumpy out of JFK until we got over Norfolk VA. I had the whole row to myself (as on the other flight) so I took a brief nap. They decided to play a game on board real quick about boxing, and the prizes were "joe boxer shorts". Like I said, God I love this airline! We landed on runway 17 at MCO about 5 minutes early. I had a great spotting day at JFK, and great flights also. I noticed too, that the F/A's smile and laugh, which is hard to find on any other airlines. It was a great time, and if you get the chance to fly them, go for it! You will not be dissapointed.
