No Pilot Briefing

Thu May 03, 2001 2:44 am

I travel to NRT from ORD at least once or twice a month usually aboard JAL, NWA or AA. I have noticed on my last 5 trips to NRT that the JAL pilots do not brief the passengers. Airlines like NWA, AA, ANA, NWA and others are constantly briefing passengers.
Any similar experiences?

You should write to JAL and demand compensation for the peace of mind that you were denied.

Exactly! I did write to JAL US and Japan office but received no reply whatsoever. It should be interesting what type of answer I will receive, if ever. Hopefully it is nothing like "the pilots were too busy to brief" or "they forget from time-to-time"!!!
