You may have gone already, but in case you didn't, I flew the same route over the past two weeks. I left on 5/16 and came back on 5/26. Both flights were 747-200's in coach class. I wound up on the aisle in the middle section (29D going and 34D coming home). The seat pitch is kind of tight in coach, at least for someone over 6 feet like myself. Service and food were OK, but not great. The movies were recent, but all of the other shorts were things like the Flintstones, Tom and Jerry cartoons, even old black and white Zoro shows from the late 1950's. They also had Animal Planet and that Australian nut who wrestles every animal that moves. The flights were smooth, hardly any turbulence at all, although the landing back at JFK was a bit on the hard side. Between the movies and shows, they have a moving map display to show where you are along the flight route and a text display that shows groundspeed, altitude, outside airtemp, etc. It is all in meters and kilometers, so bring a calculator if your a foot and inch kind of person. As for cute F/A's, unless your a girl (or a non-homophobic male), you'll find that most are male and married, at least on the flights that I was on. Overall, sort of a tale of two cities flight; "It wasn't the best of flights, it wasn't the worst of flights".
