flight 741
Continental / 737-800
Dept: 7:45am Arrival in SJU 11:45am
Acctual 8:30Am Acctual Arrival 11:50am

this is my second time flying with CO the first was a 757 EWR-FLL It was great. And now the 737-800, great aircraft just perfect and with the new head-rest seats. I had seat 26-A the whole row to myself sweet. We took off @ 8:30a you guess it TRAFFIC JAM @ EWR. we were 18 in line for Dept. Once airborne they monitors were lowerd and they would show you the altitude of the flight, descent rate, location of the aircraft, hours left in flight, IT WAS GREAT, there were 4 flight attendants they came around with wet towels for us to clean our hands. IN COACH, and here comes breakfast, we had 1 choice don't know why but then we only had 60 Pax. It was a Cheese Omlete with 1 round sausage, 1 muffin, fruit plate. After that the movie started WHAT WOMEN WANT something like that with Mel Gibson, Headsets were free. alcoholic Drinks Free  Smile another Beverage service was conducted, follow by another beverage service before landing with pretzels. Landing was smoothhhhhhh. weather in SJU CALIENTE.

Flight 740
Dept: 7:15a Arrival in EWR 11:20am

got up about 5:00a to get ready and head to the airport arrived @ the aitport about 6:20a check in FULL FLIGHT. Headed to Gate 29 in SJU took seat 20-C aisle seat  Sad
we boarded the plane, same routine safety demo cabin check flight attendants prepare for take off. And lift off, same with the monitors location of the flight altitude etc. again the wet towels were handed out Breakfast was served. Scrambled eggs, Hash brown, piece of ham, fruit plate, and a piece of bread a choice of butter or Strawberry jam. The movie started ALMOST FAMOUS.  Sad did not even bother watching the movie just slept for a while, and I say about 1 hr away from EWR the captain ask the flight attendants to take their seat, and that time the F/A made the annoucements in spanish for the Pax, and BUMP!! boy the we geat our butt kick that plane shook around and side ways, but it handle it well. I was amazed it only lasted about 1 1/2 minutes, after that it was ok. nothing major the flight attendants proceded to do the last Beverage service with trays of water, coke, OJ, with a piece of cheese and crackers. Landing in newark was smooth again, overall continental airlines is great, no complaints from them. Hope you enjoy the report short but brief.  Smile

Great report. I really appreciate the details of the meals.

Continental is a very good airline. I was impressed with my travels with them recently and hope I am able to use them in the future.

Hope you enjoyed Puerto Rico and had a great time. Did you find alot of inconveniences getting your baggage because getting to the Continental Baggage claim in SJU can be hell. Anyway hope you enjoyed Puerto Rico.
