Air Ukraine VKO-KBP

Air Ukraine Moscow Vnukovo-Kiev Borispol
TU-134 UR-65213. The long-awaited return
Check-in started for the 7:55 departure to the Borispol airport. Vnukovo is a typical fallen apart Soviet airport which is in desperate need of repair. The flight appeared to be on-time and I proceeded to the boarding sector. The flight indeed was on-time and I boarded the shuttle to the Tu-134. That Tu-134 was somewhat new with all leather seats even in coach. The check-in was kind of stupid so they didn't give us a seat assignment!! Our boarding pass just did not include the assignment. Well I sat down into a nice relaxed Tu-134 we taxiied out to take-off and got going. The aircraft was nice and the front row of economy (Coach) had a table to eat out of!!! The meal was a nice snack and we continued on to Borispol we landed at 8:25 on time and the plane was great. Overall I give this flight 6/10 NO OXYGEN MASKS OR LIFEJACKETS FLYING OVER AN AREA WHERE PRESSURIZATION IS VALID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What now?

I flew that route back in the day, and it was on Aeroflot TU-154. Pretty nice.

Great report. It is good that you enjoyed your trip. Yet, the absence of oxygen masks continues to amaze me. Is it that TU 134s do not have them at all or is it that Air Ukraine's planes do not have them?

How was Borispol Airport? I know the terminal was redone recently (it was still under construction last time I was there).
