PHX-LAS-MCO-ATL-PHX

America West 564 PHX-LAS
Airbus A320
-This flight was downgraded from a 757 to an A320 after the scheduled 757 was 5 hours late from another destination. Flight was rather smooth and this was a quick one. On Time

America West 564 (continued) LAS-MCO
Boeing 757
-This flight was absolutely long and boring, no meal service was provided on this 4.5 hour flight, not even a snack sack, just some nuts! I did witness a meteorite fall to earth and impact the ground shortly after leaveing LAS. On Time

America West 563 MCO-LAS
Boeing 757
CANCELLED (First Officer Was Ill)
So we got this flight instead:

Delta 1228 MCO-ATL
Boeing 767-400ER (Awesome Plane)
-This was another quickie! I was surprised to get a 767 MCO-ATL but only a 757 ATL-PHX??? THis plane was very quiet and Delta had somewhat of a GPS on the screens throughout the plane showing where we were. Landing was fun, approaching exactly next to us was another DL 767 but he beat us to the ground.....

Delta 989 ATL-PHX
Boeing 757
MY window seat wasnt much of a window, it was actually one of those spots where theres a gap in the windows!! Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and fruit, it was...ok. I saw my house on approach because I finally took a flight where they do the approach I see them executing over my neighborhood all the time, I didnt know my neighbors had a pool that was full...and they dont live there yet so I might just be visiting sometime!

Any way...this trip was quite an experience, HP put us up in the Hyatt in the Orlando Airport, anyone stayed here??
The rooms are nice but mine had a view of the inside airport lobby, not outside :-(

I cant beleive that you didn't get anything to eat except peanuts on a 4.5 hour flight. Wow! I have seen the Hyatt in the airport, but I have never stayed there before Sad. It looks really nice though Smile.

The LAS-MCO flight is a redeye. That is why there is no meal service.

Yea I know the LAS-MCO is a redeye but they still should have served people like me who were awake the whole time, and the flight MCO-LAS which departs at around 8:30 is not a redeye, and they were not going to serve food on it either!!!

You had a view of the inside lobby? That is strange.

Some airlines serve food on redeyes. I am pretty sure NW serves food on the PHX-DTW redeye, cant remember, however no movie is shown. On Continental, the PHX-EWR redeye has a snack meal served along with a movie.
