Anyone Flown Royal Jordanian Before?

Mon Aug 13, 2001 3:21 pm

Greetings,

With the wide range of interesting knowledge on this website - I have seen anything posted on Royal Jordanian?

Has anyone here flown them before - and if so how is it?

Thanks and look forward to possible info.

I flew on Royal Jordanian a couple of years ago from New Delhi to Amman (A310) and then Amman-Amsterdam-Chicago (L1011). Overall, it was a good experience. Their aircraft were well maintained inside. The food was not good, but no worse than international economy class food on U.S. carriers. The flight crews were decent and seemed proud to be working for the company.

My favorite part of the trip was my 4 hour stopover in Amman..I just love Royal Jordanian's paint scheme! It's gorgeous..and to see so many in one place was fantastic.

I too agree that their paint scheme is one of the best out there...

Sorry... I meant "haven't seen much written on RJ".

YES - paint scheme is top 5 for sure in world! Do not understand why they are changing their scheme last I heard?!?

Does RJ still fly to ORD - seems like a unprofitable route for them.

cheers all,
