A Trip Through Time!

Fri Aug 17, 2001 12:46 pm

I just took a ride on a 1929 Ford Tri-Motor. We took off from Kalamazoo\Battle Creek Int. and flew around the area. It was a nice change from the big jetliners that I have become so use to. It was cool to see the engines start and the propellers turn. It was the first time that i got to see the wheels smack the ground and make the smoke. But then we returned to the airport, it was a nice slow and very low flight and it seemed like we whent back it time untill i saw a CRJ taxie to the runway.

Sounds interesting, but tell me more. Who offers these flights? Is it open for general public? Pricing? How was the cabin? Service?
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

It was kinda a steep price for a ride, $45, but i think it was worth it i probablly would never get to do it again. The cabin was realy nice, all the seats were apolstered and they looked just like the pictures that I have seen of the inside.
