It's nothing special now that the other carriers have new premium products. Virgin's only gimmick is the massage or manicure, but then again you can get that through some of the other airlines' airport lounges.

Upper Class is fantastic. Here are just some of the features:-

- chaffeur driven car to/from the airport
- excellent lounge facilities
- award winning innovative seat
- freedom menu service (eat when YOU want to)
- in flight beauty therapy service
- onboard bar with stools

There are some photos on this website and also on

If you would like to know more let me know via this thread.

Enjoy your flight.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

^^ Last time my dad flew VS, probably the lats ever.
- There was no Limo waiting for him after his flight.
- The lounge at LAX is pretty bog standard, although there LHR one is nice.
- The seat was broken, and required him to repair it before he sat down!
- The freedom menu is a good idea, however when my dad called the FA over to order something, he asked what was the options, she pulled out his menu, and said here you go call me when you are ready! Charming huh?
I think get the idea!

How many times did your Dad have a good flight? Things do go wrong from time to time. I've never found an airline that is 100% perfect, however I have certainly travelled on a few which offer very poor value for money.

He had 2 flights back to back that went wrong, before that he had 2 pretty good flights. The think thta upset him most was when he complained they said on his way out of LHR they would like to ask him questions to ensure it did not happen again, well he arrived early all willing to help out no one showed up to find out why it was so bad!

Virgin Upper Class is very good. I have flew LHR-SFO and LAX-LHR upper class and found it better than British Airway's option.
The cabin crew can be moody at times. The key is to complain when you get home. I did and very close to after my arrival I recived a letter from VS saying the cabin crew attendant in question was being delt with.

It's cheap and offers a good quality way of getting from A to B in style.

Looks nice enough to me, although I would still prefer UAL. Nothing beats a bed.

I love America. I guess that makes me Bush's poodle, but I'd rather be a dog in New York City than a prince in Riyadh.

I did a round trip LGW-BOS-LGW and a round trip LHR-NRT-LHR and though they were highly overrated.
I genuinly can't see what the fuss is all about. It seemed very over-hyped to me.
I just stick to BA now.

My opinion is that VS have one of the best biz products I ever received.

I flew on Sep. 14 on the first flight after the attack from SFO to LHR.

You can choose from a wide range of meals and you can combinine whatever you want from he menu card and as much as you want. When you visit the departing Lounge in LHR you can enjoy complimentary hair cuts, manicure, massages and restaurant service. Or you can just enjoy the entertainment program there. The seat config on a 744 is 2-2-2 what is very comfortable your seat can be changed nearly into a flat bed which goes under the seat in front of you.

Also the entertainment programm on board is very enjoyable the only miss is that you cant hear music beside you have look on the moving map  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

So, I will fly VS as much as I can.
