American Airlines Flight 471
815 am - 11 am

The wedding was on the 24th, and it was a blast. I had my hang over until Monday night. Since our flight left ORD @ 815, my dad wanted us there by 6 am. We used curb side check-in and it was COLD and raining out. There was this FAT and I mean FAT guy behind us, and he was yelling to the skycaps HURRY UP. Everyone just turned and looked at him. This guy looked like elephant. I told my dad that I wanted something to eat and I needed money since I left my Credit Card @ home. I looked around in the food court and nothing looked good to me, not even Starbucks. So I just pocketed the money he gave me, which I do every often. Since the gate area was busy I couldn’t sleep and I told my dad not to inquire about an upgrade. Boarding began at 744 am for group 4 which was us. Again we were seated in the same seats before. As we were taxing out the ground traffic @ ORD was picking up. As we took off, we hit clouds. We broke out of the clouds really soon and had a nice look at the clouds. An hour into the flight we received a drink and a granola bar. I took one bite and I thought it was gross. When I looked out the window, this time the Rockies even looked more nicer. They were covered in snow because a snow storm had just passed. 90 min later we had the choice to have a drink and this low fat muffin. I said sure, but only to take a pict of it to show on my trip report. But it looked nasty, and low fat shit. As we entered AZ, we had turbulence and it wasnt that bad. We entered from the north, and traveled to the south. We flew over Payson and in the distance you could see the Sedona Red Rocks. (Look at the center very carefully and you can kind of make them out) As we neared PHX we flew over right by Carefree and North Scottsdale where I live. I saw our community, Desert Mountain. That is the place where they did play The Tradition. I could see the Carefree Sky Ranch. It is an airport where they have homes on a private runway. That is the place I want to live when I retire. As we headed south, we flew over the Troon Golf Course and DC Ranch. The left side of the plane was able to see Fountain Hills. We then flew on to Mesa then into Tempe. I was able to see the airport and we did a hard right. As we were on approach we flew over that stupid Tempe Town Lake. That has to be the stupidest thing in the world. As we touched down, we where followed by a SWA 737 and in front of us was a United CRJ. We arrived at gate 2 and then had to wait 30 min for our DAMN bags again.

Over all I loved my trip and it was great seeing my cousin get married. I would show some pictures of the wedding my I left my cam in the limo. Also I had my first hang over which sucked, but hey there was an open bar and they weren’t carding. And I look like I am 13. I’m really happy for my cousin and hope they have a blast in the South Pacific. What is really neat about her is that she is a FA for AA. I hope u enjoyed this trip report. I took some video, but I don‘t feel like uploading it.

Why would you enquire about an upgrade? Is your dad gold/Plat/ExecPlat?
