I love the 757s so I am happy to be spending some time on them. Also can't wait to try out the new 764s. There obviously will be a trip report so stay tuned.

Sounds like a fun trip- you'll love the 764s... they are great.... so much nicer on the long flight to Hawaii then the L10's with the IFE at each seat.

764

I like the 764 simply for the fact that you look at it and it is at once familiar, yet at the same time totally new. You look at it and know straight away that its a 767, but then you look along that looong fuselage and wonder if your mind isn't playing tricks on you.

I enjoyed my solitary flight on one. I flew on an old 763 from ATL to LAX (part of the post Sept11th chaos) then as scheduled on a 764 on the way back. I liked the newer aircraft better, if only for the fact that its so much brighter inside the cabin (can't wait to see the new 747 interior!).

I wish I could go, but oh well I am going to HNL next year if everything works out.

Doug Taylor runs http://www.jetcareers.com , and he is based out of DFW not ATL.

Have fun on your trip!
