Me and my friends arrived at my local airport, East Midlands, at about 7pm and checked in for our flight to Palma on MyTravel Airways.

My seat was 22C on this aircraft:

The airport had just had it's rush hour, so there was just our flight to Palma, another MyTravel flight to Ibiza, and a Go flight to somewhere. Though I can't remember where to. But this was the aircraft:

The flight was scheduled to depart at 22:10, but we took off at 21:50 after 2 bmi aircraft and this Bmibaby aircraft landed:

We took off and started our 2 hour flight to PMI. The lights were dimmed for take-off and we got into the air. It was about 20mins until the fasten seat belt sign went off, a long time compared to the 5mins when we left PMI a week later.
The sign went off, and about half the passengers went straight to the 3 toilets at the back of the plane. The queue was very long because the front toilet was out of order.
The cabin crew were very friendly, polite and helpful and we got our meals. They were beef something. I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was nice.
The film was Monsters Inc, which I started to watch with my Airtours International headphones, but the sound kept stopping every 10 seconds for 5 seconds which wasn't very good. Everyone had this problem, and the the cabin crew couldn't sort it out. So I listened to the radio.
We began our descent into PMI and landed at 00:50 local time. We went to gate 46 and left the aircraft and started the walk through miles of corridors to passport control where your passport isn't checked - I could have been anybody, I would have got through.
We finally got to the baggage hall, got our luggage and headed for the Airtours rep who directed us to our coach.

After a week in Cala d'Or we headed back to the other side of Majorca/Mallorca to Pamla for our flight back to EMA. We arrived at what seemed like an empty airport and went to check in desk 105. There was one other flight that was departing, a MyTravel flight to Cardiff.
The coach picked us up early from our accommodation as the flight was able to leave 30mins early. So we arrived at the airport early, but there was no point in arriving early because the people who were meant to be checking us in didn't arrive for 30mins.
We checked in and went upstairs to do some shopping, then we headed for gate C46. We once again went for a long walk to the gate and waited for about 20mins until we could board. The time was 02:10 and luckily we left 5mins before our scheduled departure time. I say lucky because a flight to Leeds-Bradford was delayed by 4 hours, and the MyTravel flight to Cardiff was delayed by about 3 hours.
We started taxiing to the runway past a lot of other aircraft. There was this Britannia Boeing 757-204 next to us at gate C47:

We also passed a few Spanair aircraft, one easyJet plane and lots of other planes.
We took off and headed over Barcelona, towards Luton and then East Midlands.
Here's the plane we were on this time:

We had a flight with quite a bit of turbulence, but the flight was still alright. We ate a full English breakfast which was delicious . We landed at 03:20 local time and parked right in front of the entrance to passport control. We went in, and again our passports were not checked. The bags came off the belt quite fast, and we got into my car at about 4am.
I would fly with MyTravel Airways again, because I thought they were all nice people, and both flights I was on left and arrived early which was great.
Well done MyTravel .
