check in easy in our small town, except that i forgot that my last name has been tagged by the govt as a suspicious name, don't know why, so whenever i check in for a flight, the sup has to call in my flight itinerary to get approval for boarding passes to be printed, ended up taking over 20 min, and always does, flyboyaz, do you know how to get rid of that, kathy in prc said to call hp, but i dont know if that is true. well, plane arrived from igm, two on board from that leg, seven more pax plus three non rev boarded in prc, total load 12pax for the 25 min flight down to phx, landed to the east on the south runways, and taxied over to gate b11.

walked over to gate a22, hp 52 from cabo arrived into b28, but today there was an a/c swap. our plane was in the traditional hp livery, very light load for a tuesday to vegas, total book was F14Y73 of the F14Y176 avail. push back a few late since we had to do an air start, normal pre push bev offered to first class pax, taxied to the north runway, takeoff to the west, turn up and over prc, over I40, pass kingman, the hoover damn, and landed to the west in vegas after a 48min flight. two bev in flight with the first class nut mix, arrival into b2 on time. had a couple of hours to kill before my lax flight, saw the newly painted allegiant a/c with the new blue allegiant billboard titles, didn't look too bad, allegiant changed gates in vegas, now they are over at d3. walked around vegas, picked up the new spirit, swa and delta timetables. back through security to plane watch: alaska 737-900 and 737-400, two co 757, virgin 747-400, ata 757-300, frontier 737, numerous awa and swa a/c, quick bite at big apple deli and then back to b6 for lax flight.

flight arrived early inbound from dallas, looked full coming in, and gate agents were saying outbound would be full too. preboarded, seated in 3d, normal predeparture bev, push back on time, noted flying time to lax tonight only at 41minutes, flight heavily booked, F12Y108 of the F12Y112 avail, mostly stranded pax still from the weekend trying to get back to l.a. taxi over, take off to the west, and mostly followed I15 into la, flying at 28000 feet, descent and turn over ont intl airport for approach into lax at which we landed on the north runways, surprise there, long taxi over to the south. descent over ont provided stunning views of the fires that night. into gate 9 early at 720pm, inflight normal first class mix and 3 bev in first.

now this flight is my only entire complaint of the trip, and hopefully people will agree how irritated i am with the f/a s on this flight. get to lax early because of the check in problems i have been having lately with my last name. arrive about 1pm, line is long, and i can tell some commotion going at the counter. first class line takes over 30 min for 4 pax, not too hot there, then i hear, the vegas flight just now, hp862, just cxld at the gate due to mechanical, so the agents are trying now to rebook everybody. gate agent originally told me that my flight, was only booked to 99, but now will fly full. finally get checked in, and up to gate 9 about 230pm. a lot of commotion from the cancellation, walk around, film crew in terminal one shooting tape of swa and a new documentary coming out about swa, that was cool to watch. flight arrives on time from phx as hp 29. flight next door going to phx also at 340 is delayed 50 min due to late inbound from phx, so more commotion. gate agents are trying to rebook all vegas pax who were trying to connect in vegas to the 5pm east coast bank that hp has out of vegas, so all those pax are trying to get on our flight, and gate agents are doing a pretty damn good job. preboard, and seated in 1a for the flight. from the moment the first class pax board, all we could hear was that the f/a were on their final leg, how mad they were now that we were full, they didn't want to have to serve a full flight, and on and on. now i am thinking, they are stranded pax at the gate trying to gate on and fly your airline somewhere now, their flight cxld due to mx, and you dont want to serve a full plane, lady come on. the entire flight this continued and multiple first class pax commented on the f/a rude comments. we finally push at 350pm, flight time 58min to phx, take off to west, left turn, over lgb, psp, blythe and into phx where we landed to the west and taxied into a26, into the gate at 605pm, just a few late. one more annoying situation that bothered me afterwards, there was a group of prob 40+ asian tourists originally on the vegas flight that cxld, now sent to phx to get to vegas, and the group spoke very little english if any at all, and the flight attendants were so rude to these pax. at the gate, the pax couldnt figure out their seats, the f/a just sat and talked in the galley, during the flight, the second f/a came up front and bitched about how she couldnt serve them because they couldnt understand her, so she was going to skip the rest of the group unless they asked for a drink, i pray to god when i fly intl that f/a in foreign countries dont treat me like this.

not much to say here, met with a friend of mine who is a freedom f/a for dinner, walked over to gate b11 for our flight, boarding started at 800pm, had to wait for the pilot though inbound from somewhere else, flight booked to 9 of the 19Y seats, 8 pax to prc, 1 all the way to igm, flight time 35 min, push back on time, take off to the west, and into the mountains of prc.
all in all, like i said, a great trip with america west again, on time flights, and except for two surly f/a on one leg, america west is definitely doing something right these days
