Well I finally got the chance to post my return from my trip to Italy so here it goes. We took the Trenitalia leonardo Express from roma termini station and walked to the terminal C check-in area. I noticed there were many iranians at the iran air check-in as this was shortly after the tragic earthquake in Bam, Iran. may God bless them all. it was like 400 people for a little A300-600. Well we got to the US airways check in area and waited in a long line full of PHL bound PAX. We saw our F/A's coming into the Area getting their breifings. So we cheked in for US 3 an A330-300 with a full load. We went through security which was full of flight crews. i saw DL F/A's bound for JFK and our 3 Cockpit crew. we took some little train shuttle over to the midfeild part of terminal C. We got to C24 and saw our A330 sitting there waiting. I did some spotting and heres what I saw: Our 330, two AZ md-80's and 3 A321's, a DL 763, an El Al 736, an Air one 732, and a Bell 206 helicopter. Ok now its time to board and our seats are the same as last time 11c & D. we got on board and were welcomed by a Kind female F/A whoI reconised from the flight over. We took our seats only to find that 2 teenagers had there seats all of the way back and it wouls remain this way from takeoff to touch down. We pushed back 8 minutes behind scedual as this flight was 100% full. The f/a's did there safety Demo as we taxied to RWY 25 I saw an EK 772 land. we lined up and began a nice powerful take off roll with flaps 15. We lifted off and maid a sharp right turn over the sea and did a steep climb to 34,000 feet. The Sony P@ssport system was Turned on And I watched the Drew kerry show. Truly the best PTV out there. Well other than V port or krissworld on SQ. Soon the meal service started it was chicken or pasta. I took the pasta which was better than on the way out and a Coca cola classic to drink. The rest of the flight was nice including a great veiw of grandstone island. Over Boston the Afternoon snack began and i had a Coke and it was some Turkey sandwich and a bag of Cape cod potato chips. We started our decent over long island and as the f/a was pasing out the imigration cards we hit this weird hard to describe turbulance and as a joke she said, "oh it feels like this things gonna fall apart!" to the other f/a who cracked up laughing. well we landed on 27L at PHL and pulled into gate A20 ironicly the same gate we used coming from MBJ last summer. We went thru custums and got our baggage. any replys are appriciated, Cheers Gage

I'm not sure you can fairly call this report "(LONG)". I think "(VERY SHORT)" would be more appropriate.

Yeah, it was a fairly short report, but good for starters. How about the food service? How was it?

I took the same flights- US2 and US3- in September 2001 and November, respectively. I loved the flights, although the DFW-Philly flights left a lot to be desired. I am nto an Airbus fan, but I sure did enjoy that A330 flight- so quiet. And the seats were so comfortable, with lumbar support!

Glad you enjoyed your trip.
Isn't that stazione Termini great? Dirtiest bathrooms I've seen in a long, long time. But a good place, in spite of that.

Nice report- I just got back from FCO. I like the Leonardo Express trains, and the Trenitalia trains very easy. Our flight took off right after the US A330, but on April 1.

I LOVE Termini. I've spent a lot of time there and have grown to love the place. The crowds, the trains, the confusion -- it rocks!

Haveric, Your brave to even set foot in termini it's all a bunch of kaos. But on the other hand I like Gare De Lyon in Paris.

Man, I keep hearing awesome things about US Airways' A330s. I'm going to have to take a trip on them sometime soon!

Also, about those two teenagers putting their seats down. A similar thing happened to me when I flew from Atlanta to Paris on Air France. It really made the flight uncomfortable.
