From Australia To New Zealand

Check in at Adelaide was quick and easy by just beating the crowd. Departure was at 6am. There was nothing wrong with this flight. Arrival in Sydney was after approx 1.3 hours flying time. Before I went the crew let me see the cockpit.

Again check in was quick and painless except for the crowd. This time the aircraft was boarded in sections with business class boarding first and then economy with 10 rows at a time. Flight was good and the meal was quite good. There was a choice of stir fry chicken or ravioli. I chose the ravioli.
The crew could have removed the trays sooner than they did.
Landing in Auckland was quite rough. It was raining heavily. Most of the descent was in cloud. The cloudbase was quite low and had it’s hairy moments. This flight was my first on a 767.
Flight time was approx two and a half hours.

The flight back to Sydney was again uneventful.
Again the meal was a choice of pasta or chicken. I chose the pasta
The trouble started in the airport when we were stretched for time and customs were only using one station so it was very slow.

Due to the problems with customs we were the last on.
The flight itself was alright but the landing back in Adelaide was bumpy.
