We left the hotel of two hours before the flight which it is anormal for us because normally we arrive very late to the airport…it isn’t the first time that we miss a flight. A friend from us, took us to the airport and hearing to the approach frequency to know if our airplane was on time.
When we arrived to the airplane we made the checking. Checking was very fast: no one in Iberia counter but there was a lot of people in Air Europa’s counter.
Once they gave us the boarding cards I took immediately the camera to start to make picture of the airport: my girlfriend doesn’t understand nothing  Big thumbs up

There aren’t many facilities in TFN Airport. There are two shops and two cafeterias which is all right as it is a small airport. TFN is an airport mainly used for scheduled flights to the different Canary islands and to Barcelona and Madrid. What I did is buy cigarettes to some friends as in the Canary’s it is cheaper: 22 euros for a Marlboro, 19,5 euros for Camel. I don’t smoke!!!

After that we proceed to pass the security check and after that there is only one cafeteria.
Here is a pic of the departure lounge upstair, it is very nice to make picture, if the windows is clean.

So I started to make again picture of the ramp. There were only ATR72 from Binter Canarias.

Check this plane, making the push back with the engine: check engine #1

The boarding started on time but I preferred to wait outside in the terminal. Finally when we got in we realise that we were alone in the front of the plane: it is more relaxing than having a lot of people! The captain came to say hello to us.
After that they put the video tape showing the safety procedure and we started engine. Here is a pic a the terminal building, it is very new:

And here a plane from the company I work too (if they see that I’m flying with the competence!!! Big grin)

We were taxing to runway 30 for take off. In the take off I could hear the lovely sound of the CFM engine and also I could see what I suppose it is the Helico Aiport of Tenerife

Once we reach the cruise level, they offered us a wine or a beer with peanuts just to wait for the lunch. Also they gave us the menu, here it is:

And minutes later, finally the food. I wasn’t very hungry (or is ungry???) as I had a very complete breakfast in the hotel…

After having the lunch I asked for a tea and I tried to have some rest hearing to the music. One hour later I woke up…and the captain told us that in a few minutes we will cross the Strait of Gibraltar…so….let take out the camera!!!! My girlfriend thinks that I’m crazy!!!

He told us that we will see the Tanger, Gibraltar, Malaga and Granada…so here are the pictures from these airports

Tanger Airport:

Strait of Gibraltar:

Gibraltar Airport:

Malaga Airport:

Check that there are 3 airplane waiting for take off

Granada Airport:

Also I made a pic from the winglet…

And here as you can see we were alone in business class

30 minutes before arriving to Barcelona we started our descend to Barcelona. The descend was a little bit bumpy due to some big cloud but at least I had fun…

Here we are in Barcelona with spoilers deployed…

And here the terminal building of Barcelona,

The airplane was parked in remote, so the buses came to pick up us. We arrived with some delay as there were heavy strong winds but not very important as our next flight to Palma de Mallorca was in three hours.
In overall, the flight was OK. I got triple punctuation in my Iberia Plus Card  Big thumbs up and the food was very tasty.

While waiting the flight, we went to see some shops, well, she went to Zara while myself I was reading a magazine in the entrance of the magazine. After seen all the shops, we decided to go to the business lounge of the terminal B (don’t go to the one situated in the Module 1 because it is small and there is always a lot of people) In the business lounge we had some beverage and we made some chat with the computers installed.
30 minutes the flight we proceed to the gate 14 for boarding. When we get inside the airplane I saw that there was the same crew from two weeks before when we flown from Granada to Barcelona and from Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca on a Sunday too. Here is a pic:

So now, I know that one of the rotation of IB flights is BCN-GRX-BCN-PMI-BCN.
Now, the business class compartment was fully book  Sad but not very important for a 22 minutes flight. We took off from runway 20 which is the normal used runway for departure. After take off a small turn to the left (it is always like this) and directly to Palma de Mallorca.
On board, we had as always, the same sandwich and as I always do I asked for a glass of water…you must eat and drink very quickly in this flight!!!!On the last right turn to intercept ILS of runway 24L I was still with the sandwich…

The landing was OK and we parked in gate D64 as always: this flight normally parks between gates D60-D64…

And that’s all, I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures…

Next flight…tomorrow to Barcelona again…
