Hi everyone,
I decided to go to Croatia after 4 years and see my grand parents so I went to my travel agent to go back to Croatia. I had 2 choices go on NWA and KLM or Lufthansa. I chose Lh since I love them.
Here it goes
LAX - AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA
Equip: B747-400
Seat : 39F (window)
Duration:10 hr 30 min
ARR: 11:00am
I came to LAX early to ensure that I would make it on the plane. I came to LAX and standed in line for a minute or so and a male LH employee told us to check in then do security. We checked in and then to the line again. A female agent came from LH and told us to follow her to the business class security line. They passed our 3 suitcases. Me and my dad said bye to my mom and went through more security at Bradly. We walked a long way and reached gate 105. Then we met up with some relitives. We waited and I walked pass the big huge Luthansa plane that was there and would take me over the sea and to europe. Boarding started at 2:20pm and I got on the B744 and was greeted by one male and one female attendent at the door. I was greeted in German of course. I greted all the attendents down the asile. They were a very nice crew. I always expect that on LH. The plane pushed back and then the safety briefing came on in German and English. The plane taxied to the very back of LAX on the Imperial side by all the cargo hangers. Then it was our turn to take off. The big LH 744 powered up and started a gracefull roll towards the blue Pacific. The plane was off and passing islands and all we continued up up and up. We had our drinks passou to us. Later Euro news and magazin on air came on. I looked at that and then we had dinner chicken or stuffed manicoti with salad, good bread and a blueberry crumb cake. The movies were going to start so the f/a told me to close my window shade. Then the whole night I watched 50 first dates, Along came polly and against the ropes. They were all good movies. Then we had breakfast and i was not happy with it. It was eggs with some tastless potatoes and some fruit that was good. Then shortly after the big plane came in to AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA 30 mins late. Welcome to Frankfurt and then good bye from the Crew. I said thank you and bye to all the WONDERFUL CREW ON LH457 on June 30,2004.

Duration 1hr 30 mins
I finally boarded this fligh after much waiting. I came to the under ground gates at AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA. Gate B55. I waite and found the plane had not come from Zagreb and we would have to wait for servicing and the rest of that stuff. Once i got to the plane it walked under the wing and by the engine that WAS HUGE. I got on and there was a nice f/a at the door. I greated her in Croatian. I sat down on the nice A319. Very comfortable inside with nice seats and lots of leg room in coach class. The plane started up and the screens for briefing came on. 3 languages Croatian, English and croatian.
The plane taxied then we waited about 20 mins to take off. The plane spooled up a bit and off to the run way. This take off was sooooooo powerful. Who ever said that airbus is underpowered better take it back. This takoff was the most powerful that I had ever felt. Up to 30,000 feet and over europe we flew. Drinks and food was passed out. Lunch: DRY Turkey and no taste, some bread and a little cake. Then I read my book and looked at the TV screen. We were comming in to croatia and I was happy I would be home soon. The plane made a smooth landing in SPU. Came to a stop and the stairs came to the plane and the heat of Croatia sneaked in the plane. I got off the plane and saw a small sky Europe plane next to us. I reciecved all my bags and off to the ferry for another adventure to my final destination.
