Took a trip to DEN
this past weekend to see my cousin get married. The wedding itself was fine and it was great to see family I haven't seen in a while. So I won't bother you with the details on that, but here is my flight info:

Tail: Didn't get
I got to the airport about 3:00PM and noticed there was absolutley no line whatsover for security so I went to the observation deck for a while to check out the sites. It was a pretty slow time and saw a couple of WN
's come and go and an HP
320 charter flight land and go to the FBO on the west side of the field as well as another HP320 push out for a flight to PHX
. After about 45 mins or so I decided to go in becuase it was quite warm out there and I wanted to make some calls and take care of stuff before my flight. Went back in and spent a whole 2 minutes going through security and was in the dead part of the terminal where there are pretty much no ammenities.
Boarding was supposed to be at 4:18, but they actually started about 4:10 and up the airstairs I went and got settled in and put on my headhphones th Ch9. We pused back about 4:15 and taxied out. We were #3 for take off which took about 10 mins or so due to arrivals as SJC
is still only using 30R.
We took off and did the normal loupe departure and and headed east between Sacramento to the north and Modesto to the south. I could follow 580 to 205 to 5 and see my brothers neighboorhood and then we were crossing the sierras and over the Nevada desert as the sun was getting farther and farther away. The Flight Attenedents came through once with drink cart, I had a bacardi and coke and got a small package of party mix (Love it much better than the pretzels). We were cruising at 33000 and it took us a while to get up that high due to traffic. Took a normal approach and landing in to DEN
and landed 17L I believe. Arrived at B33.

Equip: 733 (again, no tail number)
Expecting a long ass line at DEN
, I wanted to be at the airport by 6:30 but the shuttle driver had to leave my hotel earlier so I ended up getting there at 6:00. I wasn't too entirely disappointed by the long line in that it took only about 25 mins to get through. After that, took the train to B Concourse and did my lap through the terminal. DEN
's terminals seem to go on and on forever. So walking through I saw a 744 going to SFO
, 763 to LAX
, 757's to SEA
and a 320 to SMF
and tons of RJ
's. I was a bit sad when I got to B19 to see the little baby boeing (I do love the 37's but come on, that's all I ever get to seem to fly on anymore and would love a little variety). Anyhoo, boarding was again a few minutes early and we quickly were loaded up (completley full) taxied out to 25 for a very long roll. Again due to traffic it took ages to get to crusing alt of 310. I think this a/c was originally a Shuttle Aircraft as there were no drink carts and only one lav. The crew had come in from SLC
for this flight and were doing the red-eye back to ORD
after landing in SJC
. I had a diet pepsi and pretzels and read my Details magazine and just listened to the traffic. We began our decent early due to traffic and lined up for a visual landing 30R. We landed about 10 mins early and deplaned via AirStairs at C2
Overall, it was a good flight and the Flight Attendants were satisfactory. Though they never came around after the initial service again (like on Frontier with 3 bev services on the DEN
route) they were polite and professional.
The red zone is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers only, there is no stopping in the white zone...(Ai
