I was in Pula that day because of the Film Festival and it wasn't worth driving back to the hotel (about 1,5h), so I decided to get some sleep in the car.
As I reached the airport everything was dark. Terminal was closed. Only two friendly police men watching TV...
I woke up at about 5:00 and still nothing happening. Then suddenly at 5:30am some kind of housekeeper opened the terminal and put the lights on. About 20 min later the first taxis and cars appeared and passengers walked to the terminal. All of a sudden everything was "crowded".
I had an awful coffee in the terminal cafe and walked after check-in through security to my gate. From my expression Pula Airport is quite big in relation to the little traffic there.
My plane the 9A-CTT an ATR-42-300 was the only one on the tarmac and was already wearing the new Croatia Airlines livery. Boarding was on time and the plane was about 90% full. After take off the stewardess came around with water and tiny little sweets. Didn't expect anything else as the flight only lasts 45 min...
Landing in Zagreb Pleso on time and everyone was bussed to the terminal. There were about 5 Airbus 319/320 of Croatia and a CRJ of Tyrolean.

Pula (PUY) - Zagreb (ZAG)
Croatia Airlines Flight OU 632
Seat: 8A (all economy)
Scheduled departure: 21:00
Scheduled arrival: 21:45
Flight duartion: 45 min
Type of aircraft: ATR42-300
Registration: 9A-CTT

After a nice day in Zagreb I took the Croatia Airlines bus to Pleso Airport. I had the feeling that they didn't change anything there from the late 70s  Smile
As I had time left to check-in I went to the restaurant from where you have quite a good view on the tarmac. Traffic was mainly Croatia Airlines but I also remember a Moldavian Airlines Saab 2000.
Check-in was very fast. Security check was a little bit odd: Every man had to put off his belt...?! Gate 3 was crowded as the plane was fully booked. Many tourists from Switzerland were on that flight, connecting in Zagreb to reach their final destination.
I was again on the 9A-CTT but with a different crew. This time service only consisted of water.
