Mean SWA Cabin Crew

Sat Mar 19, 2005 7:10 pm

It was at the end of the day (1745) and I was boarding a SWA flight to UTA from OAK. Usually SWA is a caring and nice airline. Ha...ha. Not today. While I was stowing my bag in the overhead I was confronted by a flight attendant who looked...disgruntled. The words I received from her were less than polite about my bag being too large and there would be not enough room for other passengers. I looked around and laughed. I looked around the B 737-300 cabin and saw about 20 other people but being the nice person I am, I stuck it somewhere else.

During the flight I was yelled at for getting up to visit the lav and for putting my trash in the wrong spot (because they never came and collected it).

Overall i was just shocked about the service, but the next morning on my return flight they were much more kind. (probably due to the earlier time)
I frequent SWA now and have never had a bad experience sense then.

Thanks
-Chris

I am glad to read that you were willing to give Southwest another try.

So, did you ask to see the supervisor? If she was the supervisor, did you take her name and complain to Southwest? If not, why not?

There's a WN fllight attendant based in OAK that i've affectionately nicknamed "Omarosa."

I will do whatever she says out of abject fear.

As much as I hate WN, you gave hardly any details, which leads me to believe you weren't as nice as you say you were. All you did was give short, and seemingly abrieviated situation reports.

Hard to believe someone who is so vague in they're complaint.

Sorry to be so 'vague'. I really am new at this stuff. Thanks for understanding!

Although I've never flown WN, I've heard really good things about it, so this kind of shocked me. But I'm glad to hear that you've had pleasant experiences since.  Smile
