SYD-PER On Qantas (no Pix)

Thu Jun 09, 2005 8:00 pm

A/c: A330-301
Seat 52A
Fligh Number: QF 583
Departure Time: 1700 something?
Arrival time:20:51
Route: Sydney to Perth

Im sorry havent put this report up earlier it was taken last year but
i rember the flight quite well, i even have the menu etc still! I had
flown in to sydney at 1400 (sydney time) that day on freedom air
737-300 Dud-Syd. We had waited down at the qantas transfer desk before
being taken over to the dom terminal.
Onto this flight:
As i was classed as an unacompained minor we gopt to sit in the
cityflyer staffrom and got meal vochers etc. When the aircraft was
ready for borading we got taken to the gate by the f/a and we waited
for the late passengers to board before boarding and since we were
right at the back of the bloody plane everyone stared at us Sad as to
say we were late.

Anyway i remember waitong on the ground for ages bout 25 minutes before we took off. We took off to the west and headed to perth the plane was 90% full. Flight attendants seemed to be well presented and helpfull did ask to see cockpit and they said no!. Meal on this flight was:

Green leaf salad with red wine vinaigrette

And a choice of

Mild chicken curry with pilaf rice
Three cheese ravioli with beef, tomato and herb sauce

Chocolate Biscuit

Ice cream

I got my meal quite late because we were at the back of the plane but was good. Qantas had the route map etc up on the screen as this a/c didnt have ptvs back then. The f/a's could not get the entertainment system to work are trying several times and resetting it etc to no avail they finally got it working some 45 minutes later and we ended up watching a documentary on the
Australian outback. I remeber reading the inflight mag and listening to q radio and just chilling. The flight attendants spent alot of time in the back galley talking from what i could see. We landed early so was very happy, as we were very tired and had come from new zealand so had a big time difference Sad Throughly enjoyed the flight to the best of my knowledge. I was posting this one as a kind of practise trip report as i will have a number of them to do in august for your enjoyment they will be:

Then in september it will be:
Look forward to your responses nice or horrible
