Liverpool John Lennon to Amsterdam Schiphol
Easyjet 737-700 G-EZJL
These were from a number of photos I took on my week long field trip to Holland back in 2002.
Many days have past and I don't actually remember too much from the flight with it being so short but I did take quite a few photos, I was also a bit snap happy with only just getting my first digital camera
What I do remember is being excited (sad I know) at the prospect of going on my first 737NG and going from the (almost new) Liverpool Airport.
Nothing on the apron at Liverpool at that time just our spanking new NG!
Busy activity as JL is quickly turned around for our short flight.
I was in the second group to board (as I remember) and was please to find my favorite wing seat.
Taxing to runway 27 with flaps 5.
Air speed active!
Murky Mersey River.
View across the river to Ellesmere port.
After a compete 180 turn we climb over the suburbs of Merseyside.
Cruising altitude, probably somewhere over the North Sea.
Some nice cloud formations.
Cabinview, some college friends of mine on the same field trip.
Coast of Holland (started decent) I don't think I'll be going for a paddle on this trip!
I believe these strange looking streams are called Polders which help keep this part of Holland from being under water.
View of some docks, nice and orange maybe their Easycranes! We are now turning on to the approach.
Touchdown, spoilers up and engine reverse engaged.
It looked like we were a fair distance from the terminal!
Taxing, it was certainly a first unique view of Holland!
This looks like the right place. Parking at Pier D, I think!
Coming to a stop next to a BA 757.
Once inside I took a picture of a EZ sister craft.....
..... a KLM uk (RIP) Fokker100....
and who could miss the barm pots (loonies) at BMI, one of their A320's
Here ends my report, I know its short on words but I hope the pictures make up for it!
