"Jet-lacked." Is that what happens when we lack being on a jet?  Smile

Thanks for an insightful report!

I was surprised to see the Red Triangular plastic amenity kit that receives tons of complaints... Because when I flew TPE-KIX-DTW earlier this year, they were already passing out the new blue more business-like version... the content does not change much, but the new blue bags are classier.

Another pleasant surprise is the offering of a soup course from NRT to ICN... wow, that is a surprise... the meal looks pretty extensive...

I guess if you keep your expectation at bay, NW WBC will come out okay. I am flying WBC from PDX to ICN via NRT next month, and it will be an interesting comparison.

Nice report and some really good pictures. It seems odd that NW serves the entire meal at the same time instead of doing course-by-course service.

Thanks also for the link to hflight.net - wasn't familiar with it before but will go back and check it out more.

Regards.

Indeed the NRT-ICN meal looks rather nice. UA served a cold snack or sandwich in C...

Great reports and pics!! I've flown WBC on transAtlantic, but never to/within Asia. Does anyone know: When I flew WBC (on both A330 and DC10) last December, the mixed nuts that came with the canapes and drinks were served in a cheap cardboard container with a reflective inner surface. I see in these pictures, that nuts were served in a small porcelain container that matches the rest of the dishes. Is this new? Is it peculiar to WBC on Asian flights? Thanks.
Finally made it to an airline mecca!
