DL FL#24 ATL To DUS With Great Spotting Pics

Sat May 13, 2006 8:54 am

I dont have any pics of the interior of my flight which was in business elite:

DL flight 24
767-300ER ship# N1608
tail in new livery
interior old style

Flight in biz elite was 1/2 full with revenue pax but non rev pax filled the biz cabin to 100%. Interior of plane was fairly clean, power port on my seat didnt work but guy sitting next to me allowed me to use his. Very comfortable flight. You simply can't beat the southern hospitality of Delta air lines F/A's. Selection of wine was impressive and wine glass was never empty for more then 2 minutes. IFE was decent. I flew from LGA to ATL to catch this flight, adding 5 hours onto my travel time but didnt bat an eye at that being that it was on DL direct ATL to DUS. Upon landing, we de-planed via portable stairs as the part of DUS terminal we were at didnt have customs so down the stairs we went and was then busssed to customs terminal. I snapped these awesome pics from tarmac and then went to viewing terrace for more great pics. enjoy

below is a shot from the tarmac before getting on the bus, great view from the ground of this massive 767

Folks walking down the stairs to bus, felt like I was in CDG again

No explanation needed here, the power that gets us here!

You got some real good pictures here! I'm trying to get my dad to take this flight in C class because he works for a chemical company based in DUS and is a DL FF. How were the loads back in Y? It will be interesting to see how this flight does during the summer. Of all the new DL routes, I hope this one stays.

Those are great pictures. Right up on the plane. Did the FO let you go on the walk around with him? Just kidding.
See, I knew American Eagle was first class all along!
