I am the son of Sudden and in my trip report from last year
I wrote that next time I bring my sister. So this is just what I did. I am now 4 ½ and my sister will be 3 years old in September.
Dad had booked us with FlyMe this time. A Swedish low cost airline.

Our departure was 12.35 on 1st of August and as this is the most hectic week on Schiphol for the whole year with 160,000 pax departing every day due to summerholiday we were there at 10.00 am. Our check-in desk were no. 31 so we had to walk pretty far. Check-in was done very swift and we got our seats, row 21 D-E-F.
Backside of it was that we had to walk all the way back to get to our security check, which is totally in the other direction. I had no problem with walk/running but my sister got a free ride on dads shoulders.
At the security check it was ok as well and took about 5 minutes. This meant that my sister and I could run around the airport killing time as everything went so smooth with check-in and all.
First we had to walk all the way to pier B gate 21 but the belt you stand on that moves is really funny. I just had to try and run in the opposite direction, which my dad put an end to rather fast. Silly him.
Well at the gate it was only 11.00 so me and my sister decided to run around looking at aircrafts taking off from rwy 24. How cool was that!
At 11.45 we were about to start boarding but there was one small problem, no aircraft to board! From all that running we got hungry so we went and bought a nice warm pizza bread. Jummy!
At 12.15 our aircraft had blocked and we went to the gate again. I was all exited and could not stand still. My sister finally understood that she was going to actually fly and got scared and started to cry. Dad talked to her and she got a free ride on his arm while we walked down the tube to the aircraft. Well inside I got the window seat and my dad in the middle. My sister had now calmed down and found it all very fun.
Boarding was quick as load factor was (only) around 55%, my dad just told me.
While we were driving on the ground I saw many big aircrafts outside and we were no. 3 for T/O from rwy 24. As the engines spooled up my sister got a bit nervous as this was after all her first time flying, but I was enjoying myself bigtime!
After we had passed through the clouds my sister said “Dad look, snow!”
Girls! Of course it was not snow, it was the clouds.

Service onboard was very well and the cabin crew did a very nice job in regards to being friendly and serviceminded. Most of the flight we played but after about 30 minutes my sister fell asleep. She slept while we were decending for GOT and also during landing on rwy 21.

Our gate was 16 B. so dad woke my sister up as was time to leave the aircraft.
All in all it was a pleasure flying with FlyMe and we didn’t really got the feeling that this is a lowcost airline.
Well done FlyMe!
Aim for the sky!
By the way,
Our trip back on 11th of August was just as smooth.
