Headed out to T3 Manchester and as normal for a Monday found it busy. As i was standby i went to the correct desk to find i was already allocated a seat in Y and my bag was taken off me and checked in. Headed to T1 Snack area and chilled for a bit watching the tarmac before saying a sad farewell at Security.
Security was a breeze considering i had packed everything from my pockets into my bag, and had taken off my shoes and belt before getting to the main point. No extra check for me this time, and i was thru into departures.
Mooched around, walked down the pier, then back and waited for my bird to load up.
I managed to have a quick word with the gate agent to see if it was poss to go into World Traveller plus as it was a cabin i have not yet experienced. How can you truly sell something unless you have experienced it yourself. I gladly waited till the plane was boarded and my ticket was changed to that cabin with a smile.

Above are my phone pics of the plane, she was a nice bird and my first ever BA 767. Boarding went smoothly, and as i said above, i waited till last and walked right on the plane.
World Traveller Plus is a good cabin. Sitting in 10K i had both a window seat, and a bulkhead seat which i so need due to me being a bit on the tall side lol.
Seat was comfy, and enjoyed the leg room. Crew were ok, smiling, but more on that later.
Vid screen was brought out of the seat for the demo, which always makes me smile and proud to work for BA. Must be the music or something.
Taxied out fast, and after a smooth take off on Runway 24L i settled in to enjoy the flight and had a look around the cabin
It was empty with only about 4 other people in it.
Meal was some sort of Chicken dish which i just picked at while sipping my Vodka and Lemonade.
The crew on the 767 dont appear to work as well as the Mainline crew. They use BA CONNECT crew on the service. Once the meal was cleared away i did not see the crew again, except for me going into the galley for some water.
Light snack was served just before landing, with there only being water or juice to drink, no soft drinks, or alcohol which i thought was a bit odd.
Anyway, made a nice turn over the bay and after overflying LGA I believe and seeing a 744 taking off on the runway below me, which is a site to behold, i was smiling so much lol. We had a smooth landing on 4R at JFK. We had a nice taxi to the gate and i was looking out the window at every point, catching glimpses of New York, the now rusting Varig Cargo hanger, EVEN seeing i believe a Varig 777 behind a fence. Pulled up to the gate, and De-boarding was fast.
I made my way to immigration control, and passed thru quiet fast. I normally muck the form up somehow, as i saw a few people do but this time i did not.
Waited a bit for my bag which eventually came out after 10 minutes, and slowly made my way to the airtrain while taking in the sites.
I was heading to terminal 6 to catch a flight with an airline I love.
The airtrain confused me for a bit, until i realised what train i needed to get. I was enjoying too much the view and missed 1 train and had to wait 15 min before the next one.
Finally got on the train to T6 and once there saw a view i have wanted to see for a long time. I have seen many a pic of the TWA terminal, and now here it was in front of me.
Alot smaller then i thought, but was very nice to see the TWA logo. I never did see a TWA jet in real life, so seeing the logo was a first for me.
I love T6'S check in area. Lots of self service machines and smiling agents.
I sat for a bit as was very early and watched the scene.
Finally it was time for me to check in, and after tapping in my reference number, the screen showed me what i needed to do next. It was a simple process, and i laughed at one point with one of the comments. VERY easy to check in, and a few seconds later my boarding pass was printed with a ENJOY YOUR FLIGHT on the screen. I walked to a smiling desk agent, handed over my bag, and headed off upstairs.
I grabbed a quick drink and bite to eat which in this case was a fruit platter thing and a 7up. Once this was wolfed down, i proceeded thru security which was a breeze again and entered Jet Blue Domain.
T6 Departures are located in 2 areas either side of a central area with a few shops/restraunts. I walked down one side, in a circles, then made my way to the other gate area and sat there for a bit watching the view of B6 planes come and go. I thought id take a wonder in the shop and regretted it almost at once. Three's a whole section on Jetblue. WHAT DO I BUY. I mus-ta spent 30 min looking around the little display, picking up jumpers/t shirts books, Teddy's, cups trying to decide. In the end brought a book and a Jetblue cool bag which i now use to take sarnies into work. I would of brought 1 of everything if i could of lol.
I took my new toys to the boarding area, and settled in to start reading. After a hour or so, i saw my plane pull up at the gate
Blue 4 u was her name. Registration N228JB

Boarding was fast, As she was a little behind sch-ed, bu it was still done with a smile, and as they did it by row number, there was not really a hold up once onto the plane itself

The cabin was amazing. Very nice I had 14d, a window seat over the wing which was perfect. Good legroom, and the TV, well WOW
A safety demo was done by the 2 crew, a guy and a girl, and the captain came on and said hello as we were going to the runway. As we started to taxi, the IFE was turned on. After the demo, programming switched on and on take of roll, between me looking out the window, i was watching King of the hill, not really noticing the take off which can send my tummy wild sometimes lol.
Service was good, with a HUGE can of Diet Coke given to me from a basket along with a packet of Cheese snacks. Cant recall the name, but in the bag were pretzels, Cheetos i think and Doritos. YUMMY. The flight was very smooth and WAY to fast for me. I wanted longer with them, but i was only going to Boston so just under 45 minutes later we were descending over the bay onto Runway 33L
