Hi guys, this is my 2nd TR on A.net
The complete itinerary was CGK SIN HKG BNE MEL HKG CGK , but I forgot to bring my camera with me on many of the legs, therefore only MEL HKG that was documented.
Please don’t hesitate to comment on the report.
I was waiting to board when I saw this aircraft landing in from KUL. My friends would be on this aircraft later that day.
I checked in at 4.45am, but couldn’t go to airside because the immigration officers weren’t on duty until 5.30am
After the immigration I went straight to the lounge, please pardon me for forgetting to take any pictures. I can only describe that the carpet was awful The color was pale green and doesn’t match with the furnitures in the lounge. CX should renovate their lounge here.
At 07.00 pre boarding started for family with children. Then at 07.10am First, Business Class and Marco Polo Club member were invited to board
My dwelling place for the next 10 hours. (Sorry for the blurry pic) The trip was planned for 9 hours (inclding taxy), but due to congestion at MEL and HKG, the total time on board was close to 10 hours. Well, the longer the better for me ?, but not for my friends though (they said they lost another hour of shopping in Hong Kong)
Welcoming smile on the monitor to greet me
My view to the left
Fake bamboo ? Not bad though.
Pictures while taxying
Rolling, The engine color was green, anyone know what happened to this one? I didn’t get the reg. though.
Appetizer before breakfast
The whole table
My friend’s breakfast
My favourite drink, Cathay Delight.
Then I went to sleep for a few hours. As usual, I don’t like the angled lie flat seat in its fully flat position, so I reclined the seat half way.
1 hour 30 minutes out of HKG lunch was served. Didn’t get the pic of the main course, I was too hungry ?
Descend into HKG. Notice the smog in the air. I thought Jakarta was bad, turned out we had Hong Kong on our side as well ?
Touched down in HKG, very smooth landing.
Sister aircraft which I flew with a few months back on HKG CGK flight.
Travellator to the train and immigration. We parked at the very far end of the airport.
There you go. Hope you like it. A little note from me: it felt like I was flying on PR rather than CX because out of 6 crews that attended our mini cabin (my biz class section only had 14 seats, and only 8 occupied), 5 of them were Philippine based ? no complain here though, just a note.
