Southwest's aircraft are identical so it's mostly pics from the Airports. I had some trouble identifying some of the aircraft I photographed so little help would be appreciated.

Edit: I had the link wrong on the SFO-LAX-ABQ-MCO leg. Oops!

Nice report. BTW, You may have had a few too many drinks if you couldn't tell an MD80 apart from a 717, or a 737 from an A319  Wink Only joking. Thanks for sharing!

The first link still isn't working, however, the second one is. Looks like you had a great time. By the way, that isn't a UA A319. That's a 737. And the B6 ERJ-190 is an EMB-190.
Welcome aboard!

I agree with the YX717 and the UA319 corrections but ERJ-190 and EMB-190 have no difference. Its like tomato tomato (thats easier to say than to type haha)

I've finally gotten the first link working. I'd inadvertently made it a private entry. And it's the one with all my cool pics so that kind of sucks but it's working now.

Nice TRs

The pics are good.

Just a question; how cant you see the difference between a 737 with winglets and a A319??

I'm glad they didn't tear it down because it's beautiful:

The will never tear it down, it is a kind of symbolic!!!

Thank you for sharing

A 737 sits lower, the engines are not a perfect circle like both the IAE and CFM engines are on the Airbus. The flight deck windows are larger on the Airbus and no vairiants of the A320 family have the eyebrow windows (though they are doing away with them on 737s as well). The winglets on a 737 are much taller than they are on the airbus. These are just a few differences. Also some carriers actually write 737 or A319 on the bottom of the nose.
Examples (sorry I couldn't find any with the winglets showing on a head on shot)

Here is a picture of an A319 from United

And Here is a 737-700W from Aeromexico

Airbus Series A320 (A318, A319, A320, A321) have flanges on the wingtip instead of winglets whereas 737's do or don't have winglets. Except the A330's can have angled winglets, but anyways you knew that anyways..

BTW PanPAn nice report don't worry. I said on a trip report nice Trent engines I was corrected by another poster on the same report about the type of engine which are CF6-80's after I had been corrected previously. Tough crowd,

Just fyi, the plane you couldn't identify in part one was an EMB-120, and the Uax plane you identified as an E145, is actually a CRJ-700. Just a rule of thumb, the E135/140/145 don't have winglets, the CRJs do.

other than that, good TR.
Yes, I'd like to see airbus go under so Boeing can have their customers!

Tough crowd,

Ain't that the truth! I think I should probably just stick to taking pictures and let the smart people tell me what they are.... that is if they can come to a consensus.
