Gotta love Seattle - especially Pike Street Market. Seems there's always something changing in that place.

I particularly like the fresh fish and vegetables. . . .as someone that thoroughly enjoys cooking, there's no substitute for fresh ingredients.

If you take another 'day trip' to SEA hop on the Bainbridge Island ferry - go across Elliot Bay, check out the skyline on your way to/from. You only have to pay one way for the round trip (unless that changed in the last year) and it's about $5 or so . . . worth the trip really.

Great report, great pics . . .

Did a similar run as part of an airport management conference years ago.....some of the most beautiful pictures I've ever taken...

No, it has not changed but the prices changed. You pay going Westbound only.

Seems like its all Washington State.

Its not Mt. St. Helens. None of those snowy mountain pics contains Mt. St. Helens. The last 4, however, are Mt. Rainier.

I'm so jealous! I've got a few pics of Rainier from a distance. You got so close!!

We go to Seattle 2-3 times a year. It's just about my favorite city, period. Have you been to Uwajimaya? A fantastic place in the International District. I think I usually gain a couple pounds after a visit to their food court!
Finally made it to an airline mecca!

Great report, always nice to see the city from a visitors perspective. It will be great when the airport light rail link is up, then it will be even easier to get right to downtown. Coming next year!
Cheers thanks a lot.
