Nice job! Isn't it fun to take pictures/video when you are solo?  Wink I think you may have violated some cloud clearance requirements on your way back to DAB, but I won't tell.  Wink
I love ASO!

again congratulations and keep up that good work. cheers and happy ladings!.

Do it! It was really nice to see the stuff I've done! Good luck!

Nah, I'd love to be in the airline business but I have other plans in mind, although aviation IS my life...

Cheers!

how do you like embry riddle? I am thinking of going to the university of north dakota, but i herd embry riddle is a nice school but very expensive compared to most other schools. does embry riddle have pipers? thats what i fly, so it would be an easier transition. cool video!

Nice video Justin........er Enrigue ; sorry I keep mixing you two up LOL. Someone is even singing in this one  Smile I do have a question for you. Can you see the propeller moving as plainly for real as in the video. I think that would drive me crazy HEHE. Good luck at school and your career.

Awesome video! I really enjoyed it. Nice little 172 with the G1000. I haven't flown the 172 with the new avionics, but I fly a DA40 with it.... which is just as cool  Wink

Wow, those were some really good landings for a student pilot. I wish I could land that well. You must have edited out the bad ones eh?  wink  You pilots down in FL are so spoiled with weather too. It will be a sad day when you get your first job flying and get based out of MN or something. Its true what you have heard, you really CAN get icing in the clouds  Big grin

I noticed you have a lightspeed. I am thinking about getting one but I'm not sure if it's worth the money. How do you like them?
ask not what your pilot can do for you, ask what you can do for your pilot

Well, depends for what you do it's pretty much a different perspective. I go to Business school and am doing a minor in Flight, which gives you all the necessary ratings (Private, Instruments, Commercial, CFI, etc) and a broad view of the career itself. So far, I'm thrilled and very happy. ERAU is really expensive but I believe I'm paying for what I'm getting. I find hard to believe there are schools with such amazing aircraft (almost brand-new) and that works under a big airline operation scenario. If you want to know more, PM me, I'd be glad to help you out... but yes, this is heaven to me!

LOL, no, you can't see it at all... that's the les of the camera which is not as fast as the prop...

Ha! ya voy pa' alla...

Quoting Vio (Reply 9):

They have it here in Riddle and I can't wait to fly on it... it looks amazing with those HUGE winglets and nice glass panel... cool!

Thanks! Nope, I'm at ERAU.

Ha! well, I bet those zillion hours I had on my MFS back at home worked out! I never had trouble landing, thankfully!!! (I didn't have any bad landings xD)

Yeah!!! I have the Zulu headsets which are AMAZING. I used the Bluetooth feature for the first time on my last cross country and worked out perfectly being paired with my cell phone... it also has noise cancelling (many say better than Bose) and a connector for Auxiliar cables..

Thanks!

Hmm, last I heard they were phasing out the Seminoles for DA42s, but I haven't had a look for ages.

Yea, you won't even notice you have a prop, but in some lighting conditions, it can become noticeable in the cockpit.

Nice vid...I should do one of flying around in England VFR...
Me: (Lining up on final) I shall now select an aiming point. || Instructor: Well, I hope it's the runway...

Thanks a lot for sharing Enrique !!!

Reminds me of my Florida training in 1994  Smile

Made landings too at Craig, Gainesville and Daytona myself, as was 'based' at Titusville...

Great place for flying...

Miss the place a lot while admiring your video  Sad

Anyhow, great video: re-lived my experiences at least  Smile

The Seminoles are coming back now that the DA42s have the problem with Theilert being out of business.

There is also a small fleet of Arrows, which is good because the DA42s are probably going to come back once Diamond starts making the engines for them - the fuel efficiency is just too good to overlook - and at that point the Arrows will be the only planes in the fleet with round-dial panels. And everyone needs to know how to fly a round-dial plane.
