I tried to get on DEN-HNL but the seat was going to be a center seat in the last row of a full 763 and knowing that the flights were more open out of LAX I headed to LAX

When I got to the gate the agent had my boarding pass printed out and I had about a half hour until boarding so I pulled out my computer to send a few emails, Boarding was soon called and I headed to the Red Carpet lane and headed on board into 3A, I was offered juice or water and took the juice. The captian would not put on Ch9 so I was kind of angry at that
Soon the jetway was pulled and we were on a quick taxi to the runway

Take Off from DEN
As soon as we were at a safe altitude the F/A quickly offered a drink and asked what we would like to eat the choices were a Shrimp Salad with Ginger Dressing or a Melted Turkey Sandwich. I took the Salad and a coke
The meal included a fresh chocolate chip cookie and a multi-grain roll.
The salad was very good and the fresh baked cookie is always very good
PIC of the winglet from in air and they are a good size
Small Airport somewhere in UT, AZ or CA anybody know what this is?
Another Airport near LAX
Landing in LAX was very smooth
After a quick taxi we pulled into 75B
LAX is a nice terminal but it can get crowded when you have a few late day departures
After a few hours it was time for the flight to HNL my name was called when boarding was started and she did not have any window seats so I took 2E I boarded through the red carpet again

When I boarded the Purser greeted me at the door and directed me to my seat, and I was quickly offered juice or water and I took juice again, this Ch9 was on, we soon taxied to the runway and took off, I saw my first A380 sitting on the QF holding pad with 3 744s and the A380 is not as big as I was expecting it to be.
After we took off the purser introduced himself and addressed me by name the entire flight, a rare instance on U.S. carriers now, again I took a coke and I was given warm nuts
After the first drink service they took meal orders and I took the chicken, the meal was served on a tray but to my surprise they did it in two courses
Salad and roll
The Chicken was very good and after the meal the F/As passes out immigration forms and the Half Way to Hawaii game, I then watched a movie on my iPod, the F/As were very good at keeping the drinks full and were very friendly
As we started the decent I tried to put on Ch9 but the captain had turned it off sometime in flight. We landed and had a quick taxi into gate 8.
I soon got to the hotel and after a short night of sleep got up for a short day before to get to the airport for my departure that night
I went to Waikiki beach late in the day and got a few pics of planes landing
After a short day I got to the airport for my red eye flight to SFO
when I got to the airport after a quick check in I went through security and then to the gate.
I walked around HNL and got a few pictures

I walked up stairs in the UA terminal and there was a drive there does anybody know what this is was?
Upstairs in HNL has nothing in it except the red carpet club
I went back to the gate and my and the agent said that there were over 60 standby's but there were only about 150 people booked for 310 seats in Y so I was not worried name was soon called and the agent had 1A printed out for me

When I boarded I took my seat and was again offered juice, and I asked the purser if she could ask the captian if he would turn on Ch9 and she said "They are discontinuing it, because of security concerns" I knew she just did not want to ask him.
We soon taxied out to the runway and had a short take off roll, and I love how quite the P&W engines are.
Take Off HNL
After takeoff I was given warm nuts and asked what I would like to drink, I took a sprite, when he brought the drink he asked what I would like to eat the choices were cold fried chicken or a fruit and cheese plate, I took the cheese and fruit plate.
I was surprised on how little was given to F on this flight
After I ate I put on my ipod and went to sleep until we were about 20 minutes out of SFO
Landing was smooth and we quickly taxied to the gate
After deplaning I went to the DEN gate and was watching the new board UA has and it showed me as number 8 on the list with 15 seats left so I was happy but the upgrade list had 18 names on it with 8 seats left so I knew I was not going to get F
When the agent called my name but all she had left were center seats but I got an exit row

I did not get any pictures because I was in a center seat, Ch9 was not on AGAIN put I just put on my iPod and then fell asleep for about an hour and then got a cup of coffee from the F/As landing was good besides having to wait because of fog in DEN when we landed clouds were on the ground and then we taxied to the gate B35.
