Thanks for this nice TR!  Wink

The pics are really great and BA seems to have an excellent product!

However, I don't understand why BA doesn't offer a hot breakfast... whereas most competitors (LH, AF, LX) do so in Business Class on flights LAX-Europe.

Nice report, though the pasta drenched with the green "sludge" looks vile!

They did give out a warm "Danish Bread" with spinach for breakfast.

The "pasta drenched with the green "sludge" looks vile! " was wonderful but I agree that the apparence left more to desire. Not pesto. See third choice in the Menu-picures under "Main".

All the food in combo with the Artesa Napa/Sonoma choice with the main dish and champange with the starter and port with the desert was 10/10 tastewise. However, apperece with the main and the fish on the starter lower total to 8/10.

Just wondering, was the seat rearward facing or forward facing? If the former, did it feel wierd facing backwards on a plane? I would've thought the feeling of being pulled from your seat as opposed to pushed to the seat back while on the take off run would be rather, um, different. I would not want to have a seat that faces any other direction than forward.

You don't really notice it, the seats are reclined quite a long way for take off and landing, such that even with the angle of climb, you are still applying positive pressure to the seat back.

BA have now had this configuration for 10 years or so. If passengers had disliked it, I'm sure it would have gone by now.

Nice set of pictures, thanks for sharing.

Food looks good though the pasta does not look great visually, that said, the most important thing is taste.

The upper deck is the place to be on a BA 747, love how quiet it is - I'm not worried about sitting in First, just let me have 62A  Smile

Regards
